About
fortasse : [IPA: fɒrtɑːseɪ] : Latin – perhaps
action in motion : [IPA: æk.ʃən ɪn moʊʃən] – the interaction of two objects which are separated in space with no known mediator of interaction.
Fortasse is a blog offering rich technology advice, product reviews and blogging tips. The material is suitable for the computer novice or the tech savvy guru who has a rusty memory and forgot some #bash syntax.
My name is Adam and I’m a 25 year old student living just outside Orlando, Florida. Apart from running Fortasse.com, I’m also a full time science major and technology fan. I am currently focusing my college education on medicine. Specifically, biomedical technology, bioengineering and medical ethics.
My personal interests are rather varied, but include classical, rock, indie, and baroque music, science, literature, photography, art, internet technology and computers.
Academically, I am most interested in ethics, medicine, chemistry, physics, sociology, philosophy, economics, and mathematics. I read quite a bit, and some of authors who I am interested in include: Michio Kaku, Kenji Yoshino, Marcuse, Michael Sandel, Steven Levitt, Shankar Vedantam and Malcolm Gladwell.
